For those unversed, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has given a yellow alert for Mumbai from May 6 to Wednesday. The off-season rain, a month before the monsoon season in the Maximum City, has been attributed to a 'very strong Western Disturbance.

The forecast is worrying for Mumbai as there is a 41% chance of rain in the city on Tuesday, as per Weather.com. During the time of the post (7:30 PM IST), there is about a 31-32% chance of rain.
