Hasan Ali has been on fire in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL). With eight wickets in three matches, he sits at second position in the list of most wickets in PSL 2025. Hasan was the cornerstone of the Kings' impressive win over Quetta Gladiators as he picked three wickets for 27 runs to restrict Gladiators to 119-9 and win the game by 56 runs. This was Karachi Kings' second win in three matches.

The three-wicket haul helped Hasan Ali achieve a special feat. He was tied at 113 wickets with Wahab Riaz, and the three wickets helped him take his tally to 116 in 85 matches, becoming the first bowler ever to reach the figure. Shaheen Shah Afridi sits at third position with 108 wickets in 74 matches. Ali also holds the record of the most four-wicket hauls in the league - 5.

Hasan Ali Eyes Pakistan Comeback

Hasan Ali has been out of the Pakistan team for a while, however, if he can continue the good run in PSL, there will be a chance for him to make a comeback to the team, especially in T20I cricket. There is a T20I World Cup lined up next year, and Hasan Ali's experience could come in handy for the Pakistan cricket team. Pakistan have a plethora of quality bowlers, but the form of Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah has not been great, leaving Pakistan looking for back-ups. This is a good time for Hasan Ali to grab eyeballs with his performances.

Karachi Kings will next take on Islamabad United on April 20 at the National Stadium, and the team will be hoping that the ace pacer continues his good run, and leads the team to another victory, getting them closer to the elusive PSL 2025 trophy.
