Rohit Sharma is increasing the number of runs he is scoring in every game but big scores continue to elude him. The Mumbai Indians (MI) opener got a start against Sunrisers Hyderabad and was batting on 26 off 15 balls when he got caught by Travis Head off Pat Cummins.
The former MI captain kicked off IPL 2025 with a duck. He scored 8 in the next game and has scores of 13, 17, 18 and 26 since then. MI will hope that he continues to increase the number of runs he is scoring in every game.
Rohit Sharma creates history
Rohit Sharma created history during his 26-run knock against SRH and became only the second batsman after Virat Kohli to achieve a huge milestone in IPL. The right-handed batsman has become the second batsman after Virat to score 4000 runs in winning causes. He now has 40008 runs in wins.
Rohit started his IPL career with Deccan Chargers and played few winning knocks for them as well. He joined MI in the IPL 2011 mega-auction and has been playing for the five-time IPL Champions since then.
