Yuvraj Singh will return as the India Champions skipper in the second edition of the World Championship of Legends (WCL). The tournament is set to get underway on July 18 and will be played across four venues in England - Edgbaston (Birmingham), County Ground (Northampton), Grace Road (Leicester), and Headingley (Leeds).
The Indian batting will be led by Shikhar Dhawan, Robin Uthappa, Ambati Rayudu, Yusuf Pathan, Gurkeerat Mann, along with Yuvraj. Irfan Pathan and Stuart Binny will be the all-rounders, while Harbhajan Singh, Vinay Kumar, Siddharth Kaul, Varun Aaron, Abhimanyu Mithun, Piyush Chawla, and Pawan Negi will take charge of the bowling attack. The WCL season one was a massive hit, and the excitement for the second edition is already peaking.
India Champions will begin their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan Champions on July 20 before taking on South Africa Champions on July 22. They will play the Australia Champions on July 26, the England Champions on July 27, and the West Indies Champions on July 29.
The six-team tournament will be played in a round-robin format, with the top four teams progressing to the semifinals. India Champions are the defending champions, having beaten Pakistan in the final last year in Birmingham.
