Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) on Saturday announced a 12-member national netball team for participating in the Asian Youth Netball Championship 2025, which will be played from June 27 to July 4 at the Jeonju Hwasan Gymnasium in Jeonju-si, Korea.
President, Pakistan Netball Federation, Sameen Malik announced the names of the squad members for the mega event which include Parisa Abbas, Amani Fuad Garib, Alina Maya Garib, Leya Raza Shah, Alisha Amer Naveed, Israh Umer Malik, Haleema Sakina Safdar, Sarina Naseem Hussain, Sumaya Safiya Ahmed, Sumayya Kauthar Safdar, Jasmine Elizabeth Farooq, Farrah Sherry Ross Rashid.
Mudassar Razak and Amanda Arleen have been appointed as Manager and Head Coach, respectively. Haroona Bario Zaman will act as Assistant Manager/Coach and Irfan Sadia Hussain as the Primary Care.
Eleven teams are participating in the championship which have been divided into two groups;
Group-A; Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and India.
Group-B; Chinese Taipei, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Maldives and Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan will play its five league matches in Group-B, launching its campaign against Saudi Arabia on June 27. Their second match will be played against Chinese Taipei on June 28, third match with Korea on June 29 while their fourth and fifth matches will be played against Japan and Maldives on June 30 and July 1 respectively.
