
Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 schedule announced (Credit: X)
ICC has officially announced the schedule for the 2025 Women's ODI World Cup, on Monday. The opening match between hosts India and Sri Lanka is scheduled for September 30 at Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Defending champions Australia will then play New Zealand to start the tournament at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Colombo will be part of the hybrid model, which will host 11 league stage matches in the eight-team competition, while Guwahati and Visakhapatnam are the two host cities in India.
India To Take On Pakistan In Colombo
On October 5, India will travel to Colombo to play Pakistan in their second group match. The round-robin stage will conclude on October 26. On the last day of group stage play, India will host Bangladesh in Bengaluru, while England will play New Zealand in Guwahati.
