
After IPL 2025 Heroics, Vaibhav Suryavanshi SLAMS Another Century Just Before England Tour

Vaibhav Suryavanshi was one of the breakout stars of the IPL 2024. At just 14 years old, he became the youngest ever to play in the cash-rich league, representing the Rajasthan Royals (RR). He caught everyone's attention as he slammed a century too at such a young age, even earning plaudits from Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. After impressing one and all with his explosive batting in IPL 2025, Suryavanshi continued his scintillating form for the India U-19 side, as he is seriously knocking on the doors for an early national team call-up.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been selected for the India U-19 side that will tour England for five ODIs and one practice match between June 24 and July 23. Before that, the team was practicing at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. In this practice match on June 12 (Monday), the 14-year-old sensation reportedly smashed 190 from 90 balls in a scintillating innings.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi's Phenomenal IPL 2025 Season
Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest player to play in the IPL at just 14 years old. He made his debut against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). He slammed 252 runs from 7 matches at a strike-rate of 206.55. This phenomenal strike rate earned him the Super Striker of the Season award.
Against Gujarat Titans, Suryavanshi created history when he slammed 101 from 37 balls. He became the youngest player in history to slam a century in the tounament. His 35-ball ton was the fastest by an Indian batter in the IPL, and the second fastest overall after Chris Gayle. He also hit 24 sixes this season, thus slamming the highest number of maximums in a single season by a player under 20 years old.
