Steve Smith Calls For Change In WTC Format
The WTC Final is currently played as a one-off Test match to determine the best team in the longest format of the game. Ahead of the WTC 2025 final, Steve Smith said that he would ove to have a three-match series to determine the winners of the WTC cycle.
"I haven't thought too much about it, but yeah, maybe a three-match series would be nice. Good luck fitting it into the calendar, which is already pretty packed. But if it could be done, it'd be pretty cool,"
