As Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj got engaged to each other last week, a video has emerged from the ceremony where star Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar was seen celebrating with the couple and dancing in the ceremony.
For those unversed, Indian cricket star Rinku is set to tie the knot with Saroj, who is a Member of Parliament (MP) from Machhlishahr constituency in Uttar Pradesh. The 26-year-old, who belongs to the Samajwadi Party, is the second youngest member of the 2024 Lok Sabha after winning a seat in last year's general election. Her father, Tufani Saroj, is a three-time MP and currently an MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly) in UP.
Rinku and Saroj's engagement ceremony was a high-profile affair, which was attended by some top politicians, including ex-UP CM Akhilesh Yadav, BCCI vice President and Congress MP Rajeev Shuka, as well as Jaya Bachchan.
Among cricketers, a lot of players who play for UP were part of the celebrations. Bhuvneshwar was joined by Praveen Kumar and Piyush Chawla.
A clip that went viral on social media showed Saroj calling Bhuvneshwar to the stage and dancing with him while Rinku joined them too.

Bhuvneshwar played a key role in helping Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) win the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) title last week. The Rajat Patidar-led side won the title for the first time after a win over Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium in the final.
Bhuvneshwar, who joined RCB at the 2025 IPL Mega Auction, played a key role in their triumph with 17 wickets in 14 games. He was at his best in the final with a crucial spell of 2/38, which included the wicket of Nehal Wadhera and Marcus Stoinis.
Bhuvneshwar is the highest wicket-taker in IPL history among pacers and won the title for the second time in his career having also lifted the trophy with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in 2016.
Bhuvneshwar was also a key part of the Indian pace attack across formats for a decade but has not played for the national team since 2022.
