Carlos Alcaraz pulled off a stunning five-set win over Jannik Sinner to maintain a 100 percent win record in Grand Slam finals. Alcaraz was two sets and a serve down in the third set, before he turned on beast mode and broke Sinner thrice to take the set 6-4. The fourth set was a proper blockbuster when Sinner was 5-3 and 0-40 up on Alcaraz's serve. He had three Championship points to take, but Alcaraz saved all, and broke Sinner in the next game to push the set into the tie-breaker, and won the set 7-6.
Alcaraz broke Sinner in the fifth set, and was serving for the Championship when Sinner pulled off an Alcaraz and broke him to take the game into another tie-breaker. However, Alcaraz held his nerves to defend his title. The match lasted over five hours and entered the record books as the longest ever French Open final. The tennis world was stunned by what Alcaraz and Sinner pulled off at Roland Garros.

20-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer reacted to the thrilling final and shared a picture with both Alcaraz and Sinner on Instagram Story. He captioned the post, "3 winners in Paris today. Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner , and the beautiful game of tennis. What a match."

Nadal also took to Instagram and shared a picture of Sinner and Alcaraz, and wrote, "What a great @rolandgarros final! Congrats also @janniksin for the great battle."

After winning his fifth Grand Slam, Carlos Alcaraz had nice words to say to World No.1 Jannik Sinner. “I am pretty sure you are going to be champion not once, but many, many times. It is a privilege to share the court with you in every tournament,” said Alcaraz.
