Unsold in the IPL 2025 mega-auction, Prithvi Shaw is plying trade in the T20 Mumbai league. The right-handed batsman is leading North Mumbai Panthers in the T20 league. Prithvi shone with the bat against Suryakumar Yadav's Triumphs Knights and slammed 74 off just 34 balls. Batting with a strike rate of 220.59, Prithvi slammed 3 sixes and 12 boundaries.

Prithvi completed his half-century off the 23rd ball he faced. Courtesy of Prithvi's quick half-century, Panthers registered a big total of 207 on the board. Harshal Jadhav slammed 46 off 30 balls while Rahul Sawant remained unbeaten on 26 off just 9 balls.

Pratik Mishra took a four-fer for Panthers as they bowled their opposition for 169, winning the game by 38 runs. His four-fer included the wicket of Suryakumar Yadav, who scored 29 off 16 balls.

With just 2 wins from 5 matches, Panthers are in the fifth position in the points table and they have already crashed out of the league. Suryakumar's team has also been eliminated. The final of the tournament is scheduled to be be played on June 12.

Prithvi Shaw is eyeing a return to the Mumbai cricket team. He was dropped twice during the 2024/25 season. At first, the selectors dropped him during the Ranji Trophy. Shaw made his return for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and was part of the team which won the T20 league.

Prithvi was again dropped for the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He didn't get a bid in the IPL 2025 mega-auction and his season ended early. The out-of-favour India batsman is now playing in the T20 Mumbai and is hoping to make his domestic cricket comeback.

Prithvi made a memorable Test debut in 2018 and slammed a century in his maiden outing. He last played for India in 2021.
