Gujarat Titans (GT) and Mumbai Indians (MI) will clash in the must-win Eliminator of IPL 2025. GT had a dream run in the league stage and won nine out of 15 matches. They were in a great position to top the table, but defeats in the last two matches pushed them to three. MI, on the other hand, did not start well, but bounced back to qualify for the playoffs.

Jos Buttler and Kagiso Rabada have returned home and won't be part of the GT squad in the playoffs. Losing two of their biggest match winners is a huge blow to GT. MI too will miss the servives of Riya Rickleton, Will Jacks and Corbin Bosch, but they do have decent replacements available.

Meanwhile, there is only a 10 percent chance of rain during the match, but weather can be unpredictable at times in North.

What Will Happen If Rain Plays Spoilsport In IPL Eliminator?

If the match is washed out due to rain, it will be a setback for the Mumbai Indians, who did so well to qualify for the playoffs. Notably, if a playoff match is washed out, the team that finished higher on the points table will go through the next round. MI in the playoffs are a dangerous team, and they'd certainly not want rain to impact the contest. The winner of the match will take on Punjab Kings, who lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore in Qualifier 1, in Qualifier 2 for a place in IPL final.
