Cristiano Ronaldo might have played his last game for Saudi Pro League (SPL) side Al-Nassr as they were defeated by Al-Fateh. The match resulted in a disappointing loss for Ronaldo's side as they suffered a 2-3 defeat. This meant that they could not qualify for the AFC Champions League for the next season, as they finished third behind Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal. However, despite so many setbacks, Cristiano Ronaldo managed to create a feat that no other player in history has achieved, even at the age of 40.
Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the goal scorers during Al-Nassr's defeat. He thus became the first player in the world to score 800 club goals in his career. He scored five goals for Sporting, 145 for Manchester United, a record 450 for Real Madrid, 101 for Juventus, and 99 for Al-Nassr. Lionel Messi, his greatest rival, has 753 goals in his club career, and needs 47 more goals to follow Ronaldo into the club.
Here are the players with the most club goals in history:
Cristiano Ronaldo- 800
Lionel Messi- 753
Joseph Bican- 676
Ferenc Puskas- 512
Gerd Muller- 556
Cristiano Ronaldo finished the season with 25 goals in the SPL, thus winning the golden boot. He becomes the first player to win back-to-back golden boots in the Saudi League. He won the prize in the 2023/24 season as well, after scoring 35 goals.
Ronaldo's Last Game At Al-Nassr?
Cristiano Ronaldo hinted at a possible exit from Al-Nassr with a cryptic post on his X account after the loss against Al-Fateh.
"This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Grateful to all," Ronaldo wrote on his X account.

It is still unclear what the next club will be for Ronaldo once and if he leave Al-Nassr. There have been rumpurs of him returning to his boyhood club Sporting in Portugal, or at a Brazillian club like Botofago with the Club World Cup on the horizon.
