Delhi Capitals (DC) are taking on Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 66th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. This is the final game for DC in the IPL 2025 as they have already been knocked out of the tournament. Fans were a bit surprised to see that DC's star batter KL Rahul is not in their playing X. However, fans need not be worried.

Delhi Capitals won the toss and chose to field first against Punjab Kings. KL Rahul is not in the fielding playing XI for the franchise. However, he is among the four impact substitutes named by DC. Hence, it is a given that he will come out to bat in the second innings as the impact player, when the Capitals commence their run chase.

It is worth noting that in the previous match against Mumbai Indians too, DC used KL Rahul as the impact player.

Axar Patel Not Playing

Delhi Capitals captain Axar Patel was the biggest name missing from the side. This is the second consecutive game that he is missing out. In the previous game, it came to light that e had suffered from a flu and hence was not fit enough to play. He has not yet recovered and hence missing in action tonight as well.

In his absence, Faf du Plessis is captaining the Delhi Capitals in their final game of IPL 2025.
