There is no dearth of platforms to access information about pickleball: PickleballTV, YouTube, and even cable television networks like FOX and CBS. There are talk shows, streaming channels, and platforms to trace old match videos.
Now, OFTV — the free streaming service from OnlyFans — is set to launch a reality programme called Smash City to leverage the popularity of America's fastest-growing sport, pickleball.
The four-part series will feature eight OnlyFans creators participating in an adult-themed pickleball competition with “silly and suggestive” challenges, with $20,000 being awarded to the winner.
Australia's tennis icon Nick Kyrgios — the co-owner of Miami Pickleball Club — and reality TV star Sophie Stonehouse will host the programme, while adult film actress Rachel Starr will oversee the competition.
“I was super excited when they told me the idea,” Kyrgios told Complex. “I have hosted a couple TV shows in the past, and at this point in my career, I am always looking to do things outside the box. Pickleball for me is very close to tennis, so that instantly caught my interest.”
Last year, Kyrgios said that he would be making his professional pickleball debut in 2025. He has confirmed that he will be partnering with Jack Sock in a doubles event in Australia. PPA Tour will have multiple stops in Australia in June and July.
A star-studded group of reality show contestants, sports figures, and models — including Nathan Webb, Joey Joy, Adi Spiegelman, Sachia Vickery, Nellie Cronen, Kayla Fitzgerald, Trippie Bri, and Steph Mi — round out the cast for the show. Smash City is scheduled to launch on June 13.
