In the 64th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Gujarat Titans (GT) are all set to take on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Thursday, May 22 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This will be a crucial match for GT as they aim to finish in the top two and have an advantage going into the playoffs, while an already eliminated LSG would be playing for pride.

GT lie on the top of the IPL 2025 table with 18 points. If they win against LSG tonight, they can go on 20 points and will be strongly pushing to be among the top two sides at the end of the tournament. They will surely do so if they win both their remaining matches. If that happens, then they will play in Qualifier 1, and if they lose that game, they will get another chance to qualify for the final by playing the Eliminator.

LSG, on the other hand, have already been knocked out of the IPL 2025, having won just five out of their 12 games. Rishabh Pant has face a lot of criticism owing to his poor form, scoring 135 runs in 14 games. He will hope to revive his form with the crucial series against England coming up.
