Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to field first against Karachi Kings in the tenth edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL), here at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
The tenth edition of the tournament is resuming after a brief pause due to tensions with India. All franchises have confirmed the availability of their international players and unveiled a slate of overseas signings to replace injured squad members.
Having already played eight matches each, both teams will be looking to secure a win to boost their chances of reaching the play-offs.
Karachi Kings are in a more comfortable position compared to Zalmi, currently sitting second on the table with ten points. On the other hand, Babar Azam-led Zalmi have eight points from as many games.
