India great Sachin Tendulkar shared a hard-hitting post after India demolished nine terror camps in Pakistan and PoK in Operation Sindoor - a retaliation to the Pahalgam terrorist attack that killed 26 people. Tendulkar took to X and wrote that there is no room for terrorism in the world. He said that India's strength is her people, and India stands united in the fight against terrorism. Tendulkar joined India coach Gautam Gambhir, former cricketers Virender Sehwag, Suresh Raina, among others, to laud the Indian Army for the fitting response.

"Fearless in unity. Boundless in strength. India’s shield is her people. There’s no room for terrorism in this world. We’re ONE TEAM," wrote Tendulkar.

From Pahalgam Attack To Operation Sindoor - A Timeline

On April 22, terrorists launched a cowardly attack on the civilians in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam. This was one of the most barbaric attacks on civilians since the 26/11 attack in Mumbai in 2008. India vowed to give a fitting response to Pakistan. Before Operation Sindoor, India suspended the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan and closed the Attari-Wagah border while also ordering the Pakistan nationals to leave in 48 hours. The Indian government also banned several Pakistani celebrity YouTube channels and social media accounts, including Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shahid Afridi, among others.

India's Response To Operation Sindoor

India released a statement on the Operation Sindoor and said they only targeted the terror camps and did not attack the Pakistan military facilities, saying that the actions were focused, measured, and non-escalatory in nature.

“Our actions have been focused, measured, and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in the selection of targets and method of execution.”
