He thus became the second youngest after Virat Kohli to score 500 runs in an IPL season as captain. Gill achieved the feat in 25 years and 280 days while Kohli reached the landmark at 24 years and 186 days. Kohli had scored 634 runs in IPL 2013.

GT Beat MI In A Thriller
