Bailey walked out to bat at number 10 during Lancashire's innings after skipper Keaton Jennings wont the toss and chose to bat first.
In a moment that went viral on social media, Bailey's phone dropped of his pocket while he was on the crease and trying to complete a run. The 34-year-old made an unbeaten knock of 22 as the home team posted a huge total of 450 on the board.

However, it remains to be seen if some action is taken against Bailey are not allowed to bring their phones to the dressing room or field of play till the match is over. In recent years, these regulations have been tightened as part of the anti-corruption laws to protect the game from spot and match fixing.
“Something has dropped out of his pocket. I think it’s his mobile phone!," a commentator was heard saying. “No way!," replied the other.
“As much as it is hilarious and we are laughing about it, I almost wonder if that’s going to have to be reported. The fact that he was out in the middle .. with a mobile phone in his pocket,” a commentator said further, albeit while laughing.
The 34-year-old Bailey is a veteran of the country championship despite never playing international cricket. The right-arm pacer has played 113 first-class games in his career and taken 392 wickets. With the bat, he has made 2415 runs with 11 half-centuries in red-ball cricket.
