Bumrah had a rare off day against SRH despite the brilliant bowling display by the team, as SRH managed to put a score of just 143 on the board. The star Indian pacer gave away 39 runs in four overs but managed to ensure he did not go wicketless by dismissing Heinrich Klaasen on the last ball of his spell in the 19th over of the match.
This was the 300th wicket of Bumrah's T20 career, and he became the quickest Indian pacer to achieve the feat. Through the dismissal, the star Indian pacer also equalled Lasith Malinga as MI's highest-wicket taker in the IPL.
