Anshul Kamboj made his debut for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2025. The 24-year-old medium pace bowler hails from Karnal, Haryana and got the chance to feature in his first game of IPL 2025, replacing Mukesh Chaudhary.

He made his IPL debut for MI during IPL 2024, and in three outings, he took two wickets in that season. CSK signed him for INR 3.4 crore in the IPL 2025 auction.

Anshul has represented Haryana in the domestic structure in all three formats. He has played 22 first-class games, where he has taken 74 wickets at an average of 22.66. He made headlines during the 2024-25 Ranji season when he took 10 wickets in an innings against Kerala. In the drawn game, Anshul picked all ten batters in the first inning of the match, conceding 49 runs in 30.1 overs.

Anshul made his Ranji Debut on February 17, 2022, against Tripura. Anshul could also bat as he has scored 410 runs in his 22 first-class games, with the high score of 46. He made his List A debut in the Vijay Hazare trophy for Haryana on November 15, 2022, against Bihar and in T20, he started his domestic career on October 22, 2022, in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy agsint Karnataka.

Anshul was associated with the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024, MI got him in the squad for his base price of INR 20 lakh. He got to feature in three games for MI. CSK added him to the squad at a massive price of INR 3.8 crore. He has become the 19th player to appear for both MI and CSK in IPL history.
