Swastik Chikara has not yet made his Indian Premier League debut, but the Royal Challengers Bengaluru youngster has been in the news for quirky reasons. Recently, he confessed to using RCB talisman Virat Kohli's perfume without the latter's prior permission. Now, on Thursday, he was seen asking for gifts from the star batter's lucrative collection when the team assembled to celebrate his 20th birthday.

Last week, Chikara opened Kohli's bag and used his perfume without permission. Now, in a clip posted by RCB on X, the youngster was seen demanding watches from Kohli as he cut the cake and fed it to the former India captain.

“At least leave my finger," Kohli was heard saying as Chikara did not let go of him while feeding him the cake.

As the RCB camp enjoyed the moment, Chikara said: “Virat bhai se 2-3 ghadi gift karwa do" (Please get Virat Kohli to gift me 2-3 watches).

With other teammates smashing cake on his face, Chikara also fed cake to batting coach Dinesh Karthik and head coach Andy Flower. This moment came right after RCB's 8-wicket defeat to Gujarat Titans.

Even though he has made the news for his extroverted attitude, the 19-year-old from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, is quite a swashbuckling batter. He smashed 85 off 27 balls in the UP T20 League in September.

He also scored a List A hundred on debut against Himachal Pradesh in Chandigarh in November 2023. The right-handed batter made his first-class debut against Bengal in the Ranji Trophy in October and earned accolades by smashing 74 off 41 balls. He also played in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in November for UP. Chikara is now waiting for his maiden game for RCB in the IPL.
