India are taking on England in the fourth Test of the five-match series at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester. This is a must-win game for India as a loss would mean that they would lose the series with one match still left to be played. After India were put into bat first by the England side, a lot depended on Yashasvi Jaiswal to give them a good start. Jaiswal had made a great start to the innings before being dismissed against the run of play. In his innings, Jaiswal has managed to break a 50-year-old duck.
Yashasvi Jaiswal slammed 58 runs from 107 balls opening the batting. This is now the first 50+ score by an Indian opener in Manchester in 50 years. The last opener to do this was Sunil Gavaskar when he scored 58 back in 1974 against England at this same ground.
Yashasvi Jaiswal was batting pretty well before he was dismissed for 58. Liam Dawson took his wicket as he edged a ball straight into the slips. This was Dawson's first Test wicket after 8 years.
