India are currently taking on England in the fourth Test of the five-match series at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester. This is a must-win game for India as they currently 1-2 down in the series. A defeat in this match would mean that India would lose the series with a match stul left to be played. The tea were forced to make some teaks in the playing XI due to certain injuries. With these tweaks, the team management comprising of the likes of head coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Shubman Gill have made a unique move for the first time in Indian cricket history.
India have introduced Sai Sudharsan into the playing XI, replacing the underperforming Karun Nair. They thus have five left-handed batters in the playing XI in Manchester- Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sudharsan, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar. This is the first time that India has played five left-handers since their arrival in Test Cricket back in 1932 i.e. 93 years ago.

Anshul Kamboj Makes His Debut
Anshul Kamboj has become the 11th player from India to make his Test debut at Manchester. He becomes the first player in 35 years to debut at Old Trafford in Tests for India after the great Anil Kumble in 1990. He is also the first Indian pacer to make his debut at Old Trafford in 51 years after Madan Lal in 1974.
Kamboj was brought into the playing XI in the 4th Test to replace him. According to reports, Akash Deep is likely to return in the 5th Test of the series at the Oval
