India are all set to take on England in the fourth Test of the five-match series at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester. This is a must-win game for India, especially after they were defeated in a heartbreaking fashion at Lord's in the third Test. India are currently trailing by a margin of 1-2, and a loss in this Test would mean that India would lose the series with a match still left to be played. The team has been riddled with a lot of injuries, and this has forced Shubman Gill to make three changes into their playing XI. Anshul Kamboj has made his debut for India in this Test match.

Anshul Kamboj has become the 11th player from India to make his Test debut at Manchester. He becomes the first player in 35 years to debut at Old Trafford in Tests for India after the great Anil Kumble in 1990. He is also the first Indian pacer to make his debut at Old Trafford in 51 years after Madan Lal in 1974.

India suffered a major injury crisis ahead of the fourth Test of the series at Manchester. Arshdeep Singh cut his bowling hand while fielding during a practice session before the Test match. With Arshdeep ruled ou of the fourth Test, Kamboj was flown in as his replacement in the squad.
