Some tragic news emerged on Thursday (July 10) from Gurugram where reports revealed that an Indian female tennis Radhika Yadav was killed by own her father. The incident is said to have occurred at their own home around 12 PM local time.
It is believed that her father filed three consecutive rounds at her following a dispute. Radhika is said to have been rushed to a hospital immediately, but she lost her life despite efforts by the medical team to resuscitate her.
More details on the incident are expected in some time by the police, while the accused man has been detained by the police.

Who Was Radikha Yadav?
A state-level player, Radikha was an emerging talent from the state of Haryana and was well known among the sporting fraternity in the state.
Born March 23, 2000, she was an active player on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) circuit. The 25-year-old had 10 points on the international and was ranked 113.
Oover the years, she has competed in various domestic and international tennis events. She made a name for herself in age-group tennis. As per records by the All India Tennis Assocation (AITA), she had a career-best ranking of 75 in Girls U-18 (reached on January 2022, 2018), 53 in women's doubles (reached on 5th April ,2021), and 35 in women's singles (reached on February 12, 2018) as quoted by Money Control.
Reports have also stated that she was ranked fifth in Haryana and was said to be emerging as a top talent in doubles.
"She was focused, disciplined, and immensely talented. This is a huge loss," Radhika's former coach Manoj Bharadwaj was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
