India are currently taking on England in the second Test of the five-match series at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham. The visitors have been dominant in this match so fat, coming on the back off a defeat in the first Test at Leeds. After scoing 587 in the first innings, India put on a decent bowling peformance in the second innings, as they bundled out England for 407. Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep were the destructors-in-chief for India. While Siraj picked up six wickets, Akash Deep dazzled with four scalps. The duo managed to create history, as they helped India become the first team in the world with a big feat against England.
A total of six England batters scored ducks in the second innings of the India vs England 2nd Test match. The unfortunate batters were Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Ben Stokes, Brydon Carse, Josh Tongue and Shoaib Bashir. India became the first team in the world to dismiss 6 England batters in the same innings of a Test match.

Mohammed Siraj Creates History With Six-Wicket Haul

Mohammed Siraj finished with figures of 6/70, which included the big wickets of Zak Crawley, Joe Root, and Ben Stokes. Later, he wrapped up the tail by dismissing Brydon Carse, Josh Tongue, and Shoaib Bashir.
The 31-year-old's spell is the first instance of a visiting pacer taking a six-wicket haul at Edgbaston since 1993. His bowling figures are also the third-best at a ground by a pacer from an away team. The Indian star is only one of five pacers to take a five-wicket haul against England at Edgbaston.
Mohammed Siraj is only the fifth Indian pacer to take a five-wicket haul in England after Amar Singh, Chetan Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ishant Sharma.
