South Africa is taking on Australia in the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground in London. The Proteas are looking to finally shed their chokers tag and win their first ICC trophy in 27 years for the first time since 1998. They heavily depended on their star fast bowler Kagiso Rabada to deliver the goods for them. He did perform exceptionally well, and has now managed to achieve a feat that was only achieved once previously in 141 years.
Kagiso Rabada picked up five wickets in the first innings of the WTC 2025 final, a Australia were bundled out for 212. Since this is a match between two neutral teams at Lord's, South Africa was allotted the home dressing room. With Rabada picking up a five-wicket haul, his name now finds a place in the home honours board at Lord's which is usually reserved for Team England players.
Rabada also has his name on the away honours board when he picked up a five-wicket haul vs England back in 2022. He is now only the second player in the 141-year history of Test Cricket at Lord's that a player has his name on both the home and away honours boards.
"It was cool to have it in the home changing room now," the South African said after achieving the rare feat.

Rabada Joins Gordon Greenidge
Legendary West Indies all-rounder Gordon Greenidge has his name on the away honours board twice for his 214* and 103 against England in 1984 and 1988 respectively.
He also earned a place in the Lord's honours board when he slammed 122 for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) against Rest Of The World in a game in 1987.
Kagiso Rabada has achieved the feat 48 years after Greenidge secured the rare feat.
