South Africa are all set to take on Australia in the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground in London from June 11 (Wednesday) at 3.30 PM IST. This will be a big contest between the two to determine the best team in the world in the longest format of the game. This is also the first time that the two teams will be taking on each other at Lord's after 123 years in Test matches.

Australia will be chasing history, by becoming the first team in historuy to seal multiple WTC titles. They are the defending champions, having defeated India in the WTC 2023 final.

South Africa, on the other hand, will be looking to finally end their ICC trphy drought. The last ICC trophy that they won was the Knockout Cup way back in 1999. They came preilously close in the 2024 T20 World Cup, but lost to India by a pretty small margin.
