India star Rinku Singh got engaged to Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj at a grand ceremony. The event was attended by many high-profile guests, including former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav and BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla, among others. The pictures and videos from the event have gone viral all over social media.

One such video that's making the headlines is Rinku's dance with his would-be wife Priya. In the video, a shy Rinku reluctantly makes some moves with Priya. In another video, Priya got emotional and broke down as the couple exchanged rings.

Rinku met Saroj through a mutual friend about a year ago. The couple's marriage was arranged by family, and was confirmed by father of Priya, and SP MLA from Kerakat.

"Rinku and Priya have known each other for more than a year now. They both liked each other, but needed their families' consent for the relationship. Both families have agreed to this marriage," he had said.

According to reports, the highly anticipated wedding is reportedly scheduled to be held on November 18 at the Hotel Taj in Varanasi.

Who Is Priya Saroj?

Priya Saroj is a prominent name in Indian Politics. She came to the limelight after becoming the youngest Lok Sabha MP, winning from Machhlishahr, Uttar Pradesh, in the 2024 general elections. She has also worked as a lawyer in the Supreme Court and holds a degree in law from Amity University, Noida.

How Did Rinku Perform In IPL 2025?

Meanwhile, Rinku didn't have a great IPL 2025 with the bat. The swashbuckling batter played 13 matches for the Kolkata Knight Riders and scored 206 runs in 13 matches at an average of 29.42. Rinku failed to score a single fifty and had a best score of 38. KKR also could not make it to the playoffs and bowed out of the tournament from the group stage.
