Rajat Patidar-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru ended their 18-year-long wait for the prestigious Indian Premier League title after beating Shreyas Iyer's Punjab Kings in the IPL 2025 Final which was being played at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, on June 3 (Tuesday). In an epic thriller, RCB batting first posted 190/9 and later restricted Punjab Kings to 184/7. Yuzvendra Chahal, who was once a prominent part of the Bengaluru franchise was part of the PBKS during this season.

Yuzvendra Chahal Played IPL 2025 Final With Multiple Fractures

Social media influencer RJ Mahvash made an appreciation post for PBKS and Chahal, where she revealed that the star spinner was dealing with multiple fractures. She revealed that Chahal was dealing with a rib and finger fracture even before playing the final.

"They fought, stayed and played till the last match! And special post to @yuzi_chahal23 because what people don't know is that his ribs got fractured in the second match only and his bowling finger got fractured later, this guy played the entire season with 3 fractures! We all have seen him screaming and crying in pain but have never seen him giving up! I mean what warrior spirit you have man The team kept fighting till the last ball," RJ Mahvash captioned her post revealing Chahal's injuries.

"It was nothing but an honour to be a supporter of this team this year! Well played boys All the people in these pictures have my heart See you next year! Also, many congratulations to RCB and fans for winning the title. Everyone played and worked hard! Cricket , and IPL ..my God again! Truly a festival for us Indians," she added.

PBKS roped in Chahal to their team after paying a whopping 18 crores in the mega auction, making him the most expensive spinner. Chahal also had a good season with the ball as he picked up 16 wickets in 14 matches with a best performance of 4/28. He also picked a hat-trick against CSK this season. This was his second IPL hat-trick. It will be interesting to see if PBKS retain him for the next season.
