This is the second time in his IPL career that Krunal has won the MOTM award in the summit clash. He also won the prize in the 2017 final when his all-round brilliance helped Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Rising Pune Super Giants (RPSG) by one run in Hyderabad.
Krunal played a vital knock of 47 in 38 balls to help MI post a total of 129 on the board after being 79-7 at one stage. He also gave away just 31 runs in his four-over spell.
