Punjab Kings (PBKS) will play Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Qualifier 2 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. PBKS had a dream run in the league stage and topped the table after winning nine out of 14 games, however, they choked in Qualifier 1 and suffered a crushing defeat to RCB after being bowled out for 101.

MI, on the other hand, didn't start well, but turned things around nicely to qualify for the playoffs with eight wins in 14 matches. The team later picked up a thrilling win over Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Eliminator to book a Qualifier 2 clash with PBKS.
