French club Paris Saint-Germain became the UEFA Champions League winners for the first time in the history of the European league as Luis Enrique's youthful side handed Inter Milan a crushing 5-0 defeat, with teenager Desire Doue scoring a brace, in Munich on Saturday night.
PSG took a 1-0 lead in the 12th minute of the match when their right-back Achraf Hakimi found the back of the net following a pass from Doue, who doubled the lead in the 20th minute.
Doue scored again just after the hour mark, ending any doubt about the outcome before Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and substitute Senny Mayulu, another teenager, completed the 5-0 drubbing for Inter Milan, the three-time winners of the Champions League.
That rounded off an incredible night, with PSG becoming the first team to score five goals in the final since Benfica in 1962. This was the biggest victory by any team in the summit clash of the 70-year history of the European Cup and Champions League.

"This means everything. It's our dream. It's incredible. The result is not by magic. I'm happy we did it like this," said PSG's Portuguese midfielder Vitinha.
PSG's victory in the pinnacle of European football came after over a decade of huge investment from their Qatari owners. And this win came five years after they lost to Bayern Munich in their first appearance in the final in 2020.
Playing the Champions League final on the back of winning the domestic league and cup double, PSG became only the second French winners of European football's biggest prize. Marseille were the first club from France to win the trophy in 1993, when they beat AC Milan in a final also played in Munich.
Meanwhile, for Enrique, this was a second Champions League trophy since he also won it with Lionel Messi's Barcelona in 2015.
After PSG's youthful side's victory, Enrique reflected on the achievement. "It was the objective since the start of last season to make history. I have felt a really strong connection with the players and the supporters," Luis Enrique told broadcaster Canal Plus.
Simone Inzaghi's Inter Milan have reached the final twice in three seasons and lost both, and this defeat came a week after they missed out on the Serie A title to Napoli. They ended the campaign trophyless, and their ageing side will need to be rebuilt.
"PSG absolutely deserved to win this match. We are very disappointed," admitted Inzaghi. "As a coach, I am proud of our campaign, but we're not satisfied with tonight's game. PSG outplayed us. I thanked the players for what they did this season. We won no silverware, but I'm proud."
