RR Restrict CSK To 187
CSK got off to a poor start as they lost the wickets of Devon Conway and Urvil Patel in the second over bowled by Yudhvir Singh. Ayush Mhatre then went on to stitch a half-century stand with Ravichandran Ashwin. Mhatre departed after scoring a quickfire 43-run knock. Ravichandran Ashwin departed shortly after for 18.
Ravindra Jadja departed just a few balls later, as CSK sank further into trouble. Dewald Brevis and Shivam Dube then went on to revive the innings for CSK with a half-century stand. Brevis departed against the run of play for a score of 42. Dube went on to score 39, but the RR pacers pulled things back brilliantly to restrict CSK to 187/9.
