Rajasthan Royals (RR) registered their much-awaited third win of the IPL 2025 when they defeated Gujarat Titans by a margin of 8 wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Batting first, GT smashed 209/4 riding on an 84 from Shubman Gill and a half-century by Jos Buttler. The home side chased the tall target down with ease, with 8 wickets and 25 balls in hand. Vaibhav Suryavanshi stole the show with a historic century, and somehow kept RR alive in the tournament.

Rajasthan Royals currently have 6 points on the board from 10 matches in the IPL 2025, and are on the 8th spot in the points table. They have 4 matches remaining in the league stage of the IPL 2025.

If RR win all their remaining 4 matches, then they will accumulate a total of 14 points at the end of the league stage. They will need to win at healthy margins to increase their Net Run Rate in case they are tied with other teams on 14 points. They will only qualify if not more than three teams finish with more than 14 points.

Even if they lose one of their remaining matches, they will officially be knocked out of the tournament.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi slammed 101 runs from 37 balls in a dazzling innings studded with 7 fours and 11 massive sixes. He thus becomes the youngest player in history to slam a century in T20 cricket, and also in the IPL.

Suryavanshi hit his century in 35 balls against the Gujarat Titans. This was the fastest century by an Indian in the history of the IPL. This was also the second-fastest ton overall in the IPL after Chris Gayle's 30-ball hundred against Pune Warriors India in IPL 2013.
