Delhi Capitals (DC) are all set to take on the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 48th match of an exciting IPL 2025 season at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The contest will see two teams on opposite ends of the table fighting against each other. The Capitals have had a good season so far, having won 5 out of their 9 games in the tournament. They lie in the fourth spot of the points table.
They would be itching to win against KKR, having lost their last match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at home, where Krunal Pandya stole the show to hand the visitors a 6-wicket win.
KKR, on the other hand, have had a tournament to forget so far. The defending champions have won just 3 out of their nine games, and have 7 points on the board. They need to win all their remaining games to qualify for the IPL 2025 playoffs.
The Ajinkya Rahane-led side come into this match, with their last game against Punjab Kings (PBKS) being washed out due to rain in Kolkata. In fact, they have not won in their past three games, and hence, they have one more reason as to why they are looking for a win against DC.
