After his match-winning half-century against the Delhi Capitals (DC), India and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Virat Kohli was spotted having a sweet reunion with his childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma. At his home venue, Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, Kohli scored a respectable 51 (47), aided by four fours.

With the exuberant audience at the stadium cheering every run from the local boy's bat, the superstar saved his team after RCB was down to 26/3 in four overs. RCB won by six wickets as they chased down the score of 163 in 18.3 overs.

Following the match, Kohli met Rajkumar Sharma, his childhood coach. He hugged him and respectfully touched his feet. In addition, Sharma gave him a fun belly punch as a way to celebrate yet another victory for RCB.

For the fourth wicket, Kohli and Krunal Pandya (73* off 47) formed an incredible 119-run stand off 84 balls. With his sixth half-century of this edition, the RCB opener ensured that his side was within striking distance of victory. Tim David came in at number six after being dismissed in the 18th over, and his little cameo of 5-ball 19* helped RCB win with 9 balls to spare.

With 443 runs from ten innings at an average of 63.28 and a strike rate of 138.87, Kohli has been in outstanding form this season and is the tournament's top run scorer thus far. With 14 points from 10 games, RCB jumped to the top of the points table and recorded their sixth consecutive away victory of the season. At M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, the Rajat Patidar-led team will next play the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on May 3.
