Against LSG, MI posted a score of 215-7, courtesy of 58 by Ryan Rickleton and 54 by Suryakumar Yadav. In a stiff case, Jasprit Bumrah led the charge with the ball and bowled his best spell of IPL 2025, taking 4 wickets for 22, helping MI bowl out LSG for 161 and win the game by 54 runs.

The win over LSG was MI's 150th win in IPL and they became the first team in the world to reach the landmark. In 271 matches, MI have 148 outright wins, while two wins came in the Super Over. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are second and third on the list with 140 and 134 wins, respectively.

Meanwhile, the win took MI to third position in the IPL points table. The team looks well set to qualify for the playoffs.
