Mumbai Indians (MI registered their fifth victory of the IPL 2025 as they defeated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by a margin of 54 runs. MI slammed a massive 215/7 in the first innings, and one of the heroes with the bat was Suryakumar Yadav, who continued his dazzling form, and got his hands on the Orange Cap for the first time this season. He smashed his third half-century of the season, and managed to become the first player ever to achieve a monumental feat.

Suryakumar Yadav slammed 54 runs from 28 balls in an innings studded with 4 fours and 4 sixes. He now becomes the first player in history to slam 25+ scores in the first 10 games of an IPL season. Robin Uthappa also scored 10 scores of 25+ consecutively in the IPL 2014, but that came in the middle of the season.
