Virat Kohli and KL Rahul appeared to settle their feud and engaged in some banter following a heated on-field spat during Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) six-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday (April 27), which helped the visitors rise to the top spot in the table
Kohli played a key role in RCB's victory with his sixth half-century of the season as he played a knock of 51 in 47 balls. The 36-year-old put up a 119-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Krunal Pandya after the visitors lost three wickets in the first four overs. RCB chased down the target of 163 with nine balls to spare. Earlier, Rahul was DC's top scorer with a knock of 41 in 39 balls.

After the match ended and the two sets of players met each other, Kohli was spotted sharing a light moment with Rahul and appeared to mimic his 'This is My Ground' celebration,' before the duo shared a warm embrace ending any speculations over tensions between them despite a visibly tense war of words during the match.

For those unversed, Rahul was the hero in the reverse fixture as RCB lost to DC by six wickets at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The DC star, who hails from Karnataka, played a match-winning knock of 93 in 53 balls. After scoring the winning runs, Rahul celebrated animatedly with a gesture that took the internet by storm.
While Rahul plays for DC but hails from Karnataka and has played most of his cricket in Bengaluru while growing up, Kohli has been part of RCB since their inception in the IPL, but is a native of Delhi.
Kohli has now become the orange cap holder of the 2025 IPL with 443 runs in 10 innings at an average of 63.28 and strike-rate of 138.87. On the other hand, Rahul has also had a memorable season in his debut season with the new franchise so far, with 364 runs in eight games with three half-centuries at an average and strike-rate of 60.66 and 146.18 respectively.
