Gayle was asked to rate Yashasvi Jaiswal, and the southpaw lavished praise on him while giving him nine out of 10. Jaiswal has been a tremendous performer for India in Tests and has already shattered multiple massive records.

If Jaiswal has set the stage on fire in Tests, Shubman Gill has taken the ODI format by storm. Gayle is a big admirer of Shubman Gill and rated him nine out of 10.

Abhishek Sharma has made a name for himself as a brutal striker of the cricket ball, and while there is no doubt about his talent, there is some scope for improvement in consistency. Gayle, however, rated Sharma eight out of 10. Gayle also rated KL Rahul eight out of 10. Rahul, without a doubt, is one of the most talented cricketers; however, he is yet to transform his full potential into performances for India.

CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad was rated seven by Gayle. Gaikwad hasn't gotten many opportunities for India, and the world is yet to see what he is capable of.

Suryakumar Yadav is one of the top T20 batters, and no wonder Gayle rated him nine out of 10. Shreyas Iyer's recent form left Gayle impressed, who rated him eight out of 10. Hardik Pandya adds a lot of value to his team; however, injuries have marred his career, which could be one of the reasons why Gayle gave him seven out of 10. Lastly, Gayle lavished praise on Rishabh Pant and rated the swashbuckling wicketkeeper-batter eight out of 10.
