Mumbai Indians are all set to play their first game at home in the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai as they take on the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on March 31 (Monday). MI have been in poor form, having lost their first two matches of the season against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT) respectively. They will look to get their first win of the campaign, and there is no better place to do this than their home. However, MI might need to make a change to their playing XI.

Rohit Sharma will continue to open the batting for Mumbai Indians, as he would finally look to get a good score after being dismissed for 0 and 8 in his last two innings. Ryan Rickleton has not been able to perform up to expectations, and hence he might be dropped in favour of Will Jacks.

Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav will come in to bat at no. 3 and 4. Hardik Pandya needs to promote himself up the order to no.5, to get more balls in the middle. Robin Minz will don the wicketkeeping gloves, as he and Naman Dhir will form the lower middle order.

Jasprit Bumrah has missed the first two games for Mumbai Indians as he is yet to recover from his back injury, which he sustained during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia. Trent Boult and Deepak Chahar will continue to be the frontline pacers in Bumah's absence. Satyanaryana Raju will continue to act as the third seamer.

Mitchell Santner will lead the spin attack alongside impact player Mujeeb Ur Rahman.
