Davante Adams is officially on the open market after the New York Jets opted to release the star wide receiver ahead of next Wednesday’s deadline.
The move makes Adams a free agent for the first time in his career, opening the door for a potential return to the Green Bay Packers—the team that drafted him in 2014.
According to DraftKings, the Packers are the frontrunners with +190 odds to sign Adams. The Los Angeles Chargers follow at +500, with the San Francisco 49ers (+650), Los Angeles Rams (+750), Pittsburgh Steelers (+950), and both the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots (+1000) also in contention.
A reunion with the Las Vegas Raiders, where Adams played two seasons, stands at 12-1.
Adams' future could also be tied to quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The New York Giants are currently listed at -150 to land Rodgers, fueling speculation that Adams may follow his former teammate if Rodgers makes a move.
With free agency now in full swing, Adams' next destination could shift the balance of power for the 2025 NFL season.
