They thus went home with a thumping series win over the hosts. This match was also comfortably won by the Aussies, as they have in the previous four matches in the series. Ben Dwarshius shined with the ball, while Cameron Green and Mitchell Owen continued their great form with the ball throughout the series. With a solid victory in this match, Australia have managed to achieve a feat that no Test-playing nation has achieved.
Australia completely whitewashed the West Indies in the five-match T20I series, winning the series by a margin of 5-0. This is now the first time that a full-member nation has been whitewashed 5-0 in a T20I series.
Australia had also whitewashed West Indies in the three-match Test series. Hence, the team is returning home by winning all the 8 matches of the tour.
Australia Seal Three-Wicket Win In Final T20I

West Indies got off to a poor start, losing three wickets within the first five overs. After that a lot of West Indian batters got off to good starts but could not convert them into big scores. They were finally bundled out for 170, with Shimron Hetmyer top scoring with 52. Ben Dwarshius shone with the ball with three wickets.
Coming in to bat second, Australia lost wickets at regular intervals, but that did not stop the flow of runs. They finally won with three wickets and three overs to spare. Cameron Green, Tim David and Mitchell Owen all played dazzling cameos as they helped the Aussies get past the finishing line.
