Finland had a great day out in the third T20i of the five-match series against Estonia at the Estonian National Cricket and Rugby Field in Tallin on July 28. With this win they finally, came back to lead the series by a margin of 2-1. Hence, this means that if they win the next game of the series, they will secure an important away series win. There were many heroes for Finland in this significant five-wicket victory. However, the star of the show was their medium pacer Mahesh Tambe. The Finland bowler broke a world record with his five-star show with the ball.
Mahesh Tambe picked the wickets of Steffan Gooch, Sahil Chauhan, Muhammad Usman, Rupam Baruah and Pranay Gheewala, as he finished with figures of 5/19 in 2 overs. Tambe picked up the five wickets in the space of just the first 8 balls of his spell. He now becomes the fastest bowler in history to achieve a five-wicket haul in T20Is. He breaks the record of Bahrain's Junaid Aziz who took 10 balls to take a five-wicket haul in a T20I against Germany in 2022.
Here are the players with the fastest five-wicket hauls in T20I history:
Player Balls Taken Team Opponent

Junaid Aziz 10 Bahrain Germany

Moazzam Baig 11 Malawi Cameroon
