Tim David set multiple world records with a 37-ball ton against West Indies on Friday (July 25) during the third T20I between Australia and West Indies as the visitors went 3-0 up in the five-match series with a six-wicket victory at the Werner Park Stadium in St. Kitts.
Chasing 215, David walked out to bat with Australia in a spot of bother in the 6th over as they lost three wickets with just 61 runs on the board as Glenn Maxwell, Josh Inglis, and Mitchell Marsh were all back in the pavillion.
However, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru star (RCB) made light work of the chase with an unbeaten knock of 102 in just 37 balls at a strike-rate of 275.68 with 11 sixes and six boundaries as the visitors completed the chase in just 16.1 overs with 23 balls to spare.
Tim David Creates History
David became the first player (from a full member nation) to score a T20I century in less than 40 balls in a run-chase of a T20I game and against the West Indies. It is also the quickest ton by an Australian player in the shortest format

Overall, David's knock is the third quickest century in T20I history among full member nations behind Sikandar Raza (309.30 SR vs Gambia) and David Miller (280.55 SR vs Bangladesh).
The 29-year-old also became only the fifth player to score a ton in the shortest format (full-member nation) to score a century from number five or lower and the fourth to do in a run-chase. Only David and Mark Chapman have done so in successful run-chases.
David hit 11 sixes in his innings, making him the first player to do in a T20I match while batting at number five or below.
