India are currently taking on England in the fourth Test of the five-match series at the Old Trafford Cricket Griund in Manchester. Te hosts have pushed the visitors to the backfoot, as they they inching twards a 200-run lead. The Indian bowlers have not looked at hethei best throughout the England innings, as they have failed to take wickets. Even star bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been pretty ordinary. Despite two off-days with the ball, Bumrah has managed to create a record that no Indian has ever achieved.
Jasprit Bumrah has taken only one wicket in the fourth Test, that of Jamie Smith. With this single wicket, Bumrah has created history as he has taken 50 wickets in England. He also has 64 wickets in Tests in Australia. He now becomes the first Indian player ever to take 50 Test wickets in two seperate away countries. In fact, he is also the only Asian to take 50 wickets or more in two away countries.

Jasprit Bumrah now needs two more wickets to become the player from India with the most number of wickets in Tests in England. He will surpass Ishant Sharma, who has taken 51 Test wickets in England.

After India scored 358 in the first innings, England have been sensational with the bat in the second innings. Joe Root slammed a sensational 150 and led the charge, with Ben Duckett, Zak Crawley, Ollie Pope and Ben Stokes scoring half-centuries. At Stumps on Day 3, they have taken a 186-run lead.
