RCB pacer Yash Dayal landed in huge trouble after an FIR was filed against him for allegedly raping a minor girl from Jaipur. The complaint was filed by a 19-year-old cricketer who came in contact with Dayal two years ago. The complainant revealed that Dayal sexually assaulted her multiple times after promising to help her in her cricket career.
According to the FIR filed by Jaipur Police, the girl was 17 when the alleged incidents happened. The girl claimed that Dayal met her during an IPL match in Jaipur and invited her to a hotel in Sitapura on the pretext of offering guidance regarding her cricket career, and sexually assaulted her. She added that Dayal continuously exploited her for two years. The FIR in the case was filed under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, the police said.
“The first incident (of rape) was in 2023, when she was 17. The most recent incident was in April 2025 in Jaipur,” the SHO said. The latest rape allegedly took place during the Indian Premier League, where Jaipur also hosted some matches.
This is the second rape charge against Dayal in recent months. The RCB pacer was recently booked for rape after a complaint from a Ghaziabad woman on July 21. According to the complainant, Dayal “emotionally, mentally, and physically” exploited the woman after making false marriage promises. Dayal, however, was given interim relief by the Allahabad High Court by staying his arrest.
